  • Pulsar 150 not starting all of sudden

    Hello friends,

I own Pulsar 150, 2011 model and has done only 20000km so far. Regularly serviced at Bajaj dealer.

It was running smooth without any issues so far but all of sudden it refused to start in yesterday morning. I drove it to home night before from office, almost 15 km, without any problem. Kicker is feeling very light and engine sound when I kick or self start has changed completely. I do not see any visible issues, ie oil leak or any pipe leaking near engine. Only visible damage I noticed is that of clutch spring being broke (https://i.imgur.com/kLhLKtf.jpg). Before I take it to service center next Monday, can you guys help me find out what could be the issue?

    Thanks in advance!

      Hello
I guess there is no major issue with your bike. The bike valve seems to be stuck since the kicker is free. Try to push start the bike, it should resolve.

The valves can accumulate some carbon deposit over period of time, and can cause this issue. You have to get the valves cleaned at ASC, if required.
