  • [Photo Feature]: General query regarding Bajaj Avenger carburettor

    Hello
I have bought my first bike (switched from Activa) Avenger 220 street ABS a few days back. On delivery day, PDI mechanic tested carburettor and replaced it with another Avenger Street saying that it was not working well. Another bike looked like of 2017 model (exactly like attached pic). When I asked him he showed me ABS sticker (similar sticker like mine bike) on its tank and said it is also ABS model. I believed and taken delivery of the bike. Bike seems to be running well till now. Done 700 km and no issues. But after a week when I went back there for number plate, that another Avenger wasn't there.
Now I am little worried that if carburettor in previous models and latest one different in technical means or have I been cheated anyhow ?
I am beginner about bikes and got this bike after so much wait. Please give me some info about that.

Ummm, the ABS Street 220 has 2 colours. This is what I see from the Bajaj website. See how a whitish ring is present on front and rear wheel. Front one is smaller than the disc rotor plate.
Can you add the pic of your own Avenger front disc and rear wheel where it is attached to the swingarm?Click image for larger version

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
