Better chain sprocket for Honda hornet 160R
My hornet 160R's chain gets loosen more often as a result of frequent gear shifts. Which leads to reduced pull power on tyre in low RPMs. So does fitting z-ring chain in hornet will sort out the issue?Tags: None

You can the fit the o-ring chain kit which comes with the newer Hornets. It is direct fit, costs around 1.3k.Originally posted by gowthamh View PostMy hornet 160R's chain gets loosen more often as a result of frequent gear shifts. Noise is reduced, chain maintains slack for longer periods and is smoother.Last edited by Shashank K R; 05-31-2019, 01:58 AM.

I agree compared with 2017 edition hornet's chain, 2018 is better and infact am using the same as I changed the stock..Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostYou can the fit the o-ring chain kit which comes with the newer Hornets. It is direct fit, costs around 1.3k.

But still, hornet has little less power in low RPMs and it need more gear shifts in dense traffic as well upon speed brakers..
So am looking for something which is more durable for harsh ride/frequent gear shifts...

Ofcoz, you need to change brake shoes after 21k. I'd also recommend changing brake fluids.Originally posted by gowthamh View PostMy hornet brakes seems less powerful than earlier and the bike odo reading is 21000... Is it a time for brake shoe change?
