Resrve to Reserve is the most accurate in my view. Reset your trip to 0 when the bike comes to reserve. Fill about 10 liters of petrol>Run the bike till it comes back to Reserve again>See the trip reading>Divide by 10 (amt of petrol filled.
This method done about 3-4 times should give a fairly accurate FE of your bike.

The disadvantage with Full to Full tank is that you might fill 16 liters once and next time only 15, both look like full tank and can give errors in the FE.

fill the tank to the brim

run it for 100 km fill the tank again to the brim point

so the math is easy 100 / lt of fuel req to fill upto the brim

here u don't req to wait till the tank is empty/till the bike hit reserve.

it is easy & not confusing

The best way is to fill more than 10 liters when in reserve and check how many kms you put on odo at the next reserve. Number of kms divided by 10 liters = FE.

Do not check reserve to reserve with just 1-2 liters. It will give approximate figure but the accurate figure.

Do not fill to brim and check. The chances of errors is very very high.

But this method is completely wrong. Just after filling up the tank to the brim, ride her for 2 mints then see how much petrol can still be added.
Reserve to reserve method should be all right. I follow that one too.

This method also will be error prone. Fuel will be left in some compartments at the last stage and the amount varies with bumps (remember we lean the bike and we can ride for a kilometer with many bikes).

when you are done measuring FE with any of the above mentioned methods... find some ways to increase it.. 28-30 for zma ... isnt it a somewhat less... check the spark plugs .. air filter .. tappets...
