    Fork realignment??

    What's the proper way to align front forks?
    Loosening the pinch bolts, fender bolts, axle nut and pushing hard down will be enough? Any reference point to check if triple tree has aligned well before retightening the bolts?

      @ashwinprakas, can you please help this young man. He has a 2nd hand Hunk with no accident history. Handlebar seems to be out of alignment. This alignment thing has happened after he gave the bike to a local mech for cone set replacement. As you already know; unlike CBZ, the hunk doesn't come with top bracket pinch bolts - instead the setup is more like unicorn 150/CT100 - any tips/techniques to get the alignment right?

      He's tried the bicycle technique and loosening all bolts + pump the forks. Still non-aligned.

        I know Kirshna quite well and we've been on the phone regarding this issue for a while now, we have discussed all possibilities and yet have not come to a conclusion. All that is left is for me to see the motorcycle in person which hopefully would happen shortly courtesy August 15th.

          I got this problem after a I did a DIY fork oil replacement.

          First I pushed the front end by keeping all the bolts loose. Tightened and went for a ride. The handle felt awkward.

          Then I pushed it again, this time keeping the axle bolt tight and by only loosening the pinch and top bolts. The problem got solved.

            Good to know that you will be personally looking at his vehicle. Am curious to know what the finding is!

              By top bolts you mean the ones that hold the forks on the top triple tree plate?

                Yes. Bolts which tighten into the cap of the fork tube.
