Duke 200 Ticking sound

    Duke 200 Ticking sound

    My Duke 200 has some weird ticking sound coming from the engine.
    Changed cam chain tensioner as I heard that's the issue but no luck.
    The KTM sc guys said its common.
    Can you guys help me out?

        I am having the same problem with my bike, do you notice when does the sound comes and goes?

        Because mine was a faulty two way a starter gear that is worn out. If your starter works while engine is ON then you found the culprit.

            If its ticking. Then something is in motion. If it were an older bike I would say the carb's an issue.
            But with Duke you might want to check the sprocket.

              Go to a good mechanic and just tell him to tighten the tapets and see if noise goes away.
              A good mechanic because he can solve if issue is with not tapet but something else.
