It's Automatic Tumble Flow Induction Technology(ATFT) also known as Swirl Induction(DTS-SI) in Bajaj bikes... it's a new age technology which helps in low fuel consumption, low exhaust emission and better ride ability, but if the carburetor is not set right it will play havoc with the bikes fuel consumption.

If i am not wrong it comes in Hunk, CBZ Extreme and Extreme v2, and the Unicorn. Just that HH chose to call this as a 'new' engine in the CBZ x v2Originally posted by wayrocky View PostHi can any1 explain me what ATFT techno is ?.It comes with Hunk & CBZ Xtreme II.Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

It's Advanced Tumble Flow Technology.Originally posted by anthonydcruz View PostIt's Automatic Tumble Flow Induction Technology(ATFT)
@insanebiker : You are right, CBZ-X is also having Advanced Microprocessor Ignition(AMI), but is not 'stickered', but one can find it on Ambition models.

Thanks for correcting him vipin .. it's Advanced not Automatic dude .... i own a CBZ Extreme .. as far as my knowledge goes .. even the older model has atft .. it's only that with the new version, HH decided to make it loud and evident .. coz there isn't any significant change in the new version apart from cosmetic changes . Hence they claim to have ATFT in the new version which was already present earlier.guys..if you ever need blood or want to donate blood, please refer to this site :

Do you ever notice that when you're driving, anyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac ?

@kaka : HH wants to make 'CBZ' it's flagship brand, hence lot of ads and expenditure on 'CBZ' brand, but I was told Hunk outsells CBZ-X by approx 5:1 ratio, primarily due to price dis-parity. But now CBZ-X and Hunk are just differentiated by Rs.500/-, means HH is still interested in 'CBZ' !!

Satyen is right, some of us (incl. me) are going away from topic. Peace !
@wayrocky: Advanced Tumble flow technology is about using physical 'restriction' or 'guide paths' to the air-fuel mixture before entering the cylinder bore such that it causes turbulence and due this turbulence air and fuel 'mixes' efficiently before 'detonation'. The efficient 'mixing' means less fuel in a given amount of air, which turns out to be more 'fuel efficient' engine.
Now, if you have specific question/s you may ask ?
