  • R15 V3 engine feels sluggish and at a loss of power

My R15 V3 is around 1 year old now and I am done with the 5th servicing last week. Km ran : 9500/-.
I am basically from Bangalore and I am facing a strange issue with my bike after every servicing is being done. My bike feels little sluggigh at times and feels like that it is not able to pull at its best. I recently changed my engine oil to Motul 300v 15W50. Prior, I was using Motul 300v 10w40. The day I changed my engine oil to 15W50, the bike was running butter smooth and more power like everyone has experienced till now. Again from third day onwards , I feel that the bike is back to normal oil kind of a feel. Its struggles on the run and the bike feels heavy to be pulled. It gives me a feeling like , the engine is not getting proper lubrication. Its short of little rough feeling. I would request someone from the forum to kindly help me out with checklist.
I am actually losing my sleep because of this
I know the fact that this is a wonderful bike.
    Kindly Help!

      Well for starters my friend,

300v is race grade oil and is advised not to be used more than 1000km so thats a NO NO for daily driving.

Other problem after service, each bike is tuned for fuel economy which makes them sluggish but after 2-3days of regular riding it adjusts to the riders needs.

The feeling of sluggish power well i would suggest you to check these things up.

      1. Check tyres for any punctures or incorrect pressure. (also chack if something is rubbing against the tyres or chain).

      2. Check wheel bearings, as when they go bad bike struggles to move forward.

      3. Check for correct chain slack which is 2-2.5 cm as it makes hell of a difference in power delivery.

Hope this gets your problem solved.
