Got myself an FZ this January end. Everything about the bike was simply great, followed the running in quite religiously. Almost a month later, and with around 2K kms on the clock, did a ride to Amby Valley, Lonavala and back. Faced a couple of bad bumps on the way back. The bike seemed to work well for that day but started developing handling issues and lost its ride feel gradually in the week after that.
Within 4 months of ownership I had two accidents. The first one had a friend bumping into my bike from the rear however the impact was minimal and the bike continued to ride as it was with the suspension issues before. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, I had an accident on the bike during a recent small drizzle in Mumbai, the result of which was a bent handlebar, lots of scratches on the headlight and the silencer covers and bent fork pipes. The same were changed during the servicing as an insurance claim.
Anyone and everyone here, who knows enough, please help me out. A lot of thought and a bit of hard earned money has gone into buying this bike and in an ideal situation I do not want to part with my bike just because the suspension does not feel right. I have tried being really patient with the issue and after lot of trials and errors, asking other FZ owners to ride the bike, I ask u guys to help me sort this issue out.
