    K&N for Pulsar 150 classic

    Hello friends! This is Shrigaurav from Pune. I am looking forward to install K&N air filter on my Pulsar150 classic. I need a bit of help as in the place i should get it fitted from and any particular model I should go in for. I even want to know how much increase in pick up i should expect and any known issues with mileage or any other thing as in overheating or increase in vibration.
    Please do help me brothers.

      K&N Universal air filter RC1060 with bigger jets[compulsory]

      Overheating will be experienced only if upjetting is not done.
      Vibrations will be more or less the same.
      Mileage will drop a bit due to up jetting.

      Note: If you dont change over to bigger jets, your engine will run lean and heat up way too much.
      The excessive heat will result into valve damage and even engine seizures!

      There is a thread in this section itself.That guy was running a pulsar with k&N and stock jets. He was on a tour and the engine seized mid tour!

        But you have not mentioned any place from where I should get it fitted. Also need to know what difference in pick up should I expect and what about the engine grunt ?
        And the golden question....how much should it cost ?

          it will give the grunt but pickup will not increase ..
          i guess it cost 2400 here in hyd

            k&N or hp filters for pulsar150 dtsi

            i m usin a pulsar 150 dtsi 2006 model,cn ny1 tell me should i use k&n filters or hp filters for my bike pls tell me d advntages nd disadvntages of both?
