One of the reasons ur topend has decreased is due to Motul 5100 which is a 15W50 oil. A higher grade than what is recommended.

How many kms has ur bike done?

      Do u service it regularly?
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

yo bro! i was in same situation some time ago , don't worry.
        u got following options
        [1] change oil
[2] drain half oil and top up with 10w30
[3] take out oil ,mix boric acid in it and refill it back!!

some body cross check the 2 options effectiveness , pro-cons!!

i tried [3] option and it worked!!

top speed of pulsoar is reduced by a large margine i doubt it would be oil only... coz i filled with the castrol GTX 20w50 [car] and top end was only reduced by 3 kmph that is arrnd ~107 kmph

there is some thing fishy in ur bike not just oil .. btw chnge oil and see what happens

Hey I have a Pulsar 180 DTSi and it heats up too, I have put down the effects and the remedy offered by a mechanic to it...

Check the tread " Overheating Issues on P180 in the Help Me section "

PS: I am not really sure if the diagnosis is right or wrong...but it may throw some light on your issue...

There are some very good oils available in the market....apart from castrol...which are more value for money than them

Try veedol super swift...semi synth....I feel its tailor made for pulsars...lovely oil at around 270rs....

Petronas sprinta fully synthetic is another lovely oil....at around 330 rs...

looks like your clutch plates are fried ....... but you can try switching to other oil first ..

on what rpm you are doing 100.. oil is not the issue.. dont worry about that.. when you drained the oil what was the quantity of oil drained.. is the engine making chattering noise .. if it is 15k only and you got all the services done on time this case will be treated in warranty by service center..
