  • Pulsar 220 ABS: Engine oil light comes up

    Hi there!

Motorcycle: P220-ABS; Age: purchased 10th Oct, 2019; Current ODO reading: 4379KMs.
Riding habit: Daily highway rider, I drive from my home to work regularly (approx 75KMs each way).
Service history: Service bike every 1000KM (4 services done till date, 1 free, 3 paid).
Customisation: No changes done, motorcycle is bone stock.

I'm experiencing a strange problem with my new motorcycle[see pictures]. I've observed that this light doesn't come up when I'm taking my bike out after a rest of 5-6hrs, but comes up after I'm riding it for approx 30-35KMs. I drive a long distance ~150KMs every day. I've tried changing engine oil, doesn't help (currently running GULF - Bajaj pulsar engine oil due to warranty restrictions). Bike never goes down to reserve. No alterations done electrically, aesthetically or mechanically. Service guys aren't able to help. Please suggest what should be the next action for me!
