    Hi all

    I own Yamaha R15 and have a little confusion i have installed the Hella Red Grill horns in my bike but they are running directly without any relay

    sound is ok but sometime it sounds low,, someone suggested me to install a relay for this but i dont know how to do so



    can anyone help me with the circuit diagrams???

        As far as i know, a relay is required when a normal switch is not able to handle the current drawn. I don't know why people use relay, and what difference does it make.

        But in case if at all a relay has to be installed, then connect the relay to the out put of the horns. And connect it horn's via relay directly to the battery.

        If i'm not wrong it's not the relay but high gauge wire which make a difference, but people use a relay so that an extra switch is not required and at same time it will not interfere with the stock wiring.
