  • Fz V3 engine issue

I am facing three issue with my FZ V3 (3,000 kms done).

Harsher engine and harsh engine sound after a few minutes of riding. After 4,500 rpm the engine sound changes and it starts to vibrate like I touched the redline.

After hard braking, downshift not happening. I have to release a little bit of clutch lever and only after that I am able to downshift.

I am using Yamaha Lube Sporty Premium engine oil .

What type of sounds are you getting from the engine?? Can you elaborate in detail if possible post a video. Altough engine sound is more common in the FI version of the FZ’s seen many fz owners reporting the same issue several times.
How many kms the bike has completed???

Its the issue with the engine oil. I faced the same issue on my FZ S V2.0. But after changing to MOTUL 7100 10w 50, my engine sound is smooth and no vibrations. Gear shifting became very smooth. Change the engine oil to MOTUL after your free services are completed.
