  • All lights (bulbs and handlebar lights) on Duke 200 going off when I turn the handlebar left

    Hi all.

Today I had a bad experience with my bike. As soon as I started the bike and turn the wheel left all lights went off. I found that the problem is on the wiring harness. When I am touching the wiring on this spot the lights come on (right side of the bike is where the wiring harness is coming out from the back of the headlight). Every time you I turn the handle bars left or right this black plastic tube is moves.

There is a problem but I don't know in which cable. There are so many inside that plastic tube.

So... what now? Can I fix it my self with a multimeter? How can I spot which cable is the right one? Do I have access on the edges of the wiring harness. ?
I really need some guidance on this guys..

i used a fat cable from a broken psu to be sure it can handle the power and tighten the edjes.. then i used a hot glue and black insulation tape.
Aafter i used the black tube pieces (that i cut for getting access to the cables) and used the black tape to seal it as much as i can.
to be honest i am not sure if those cables there are safe... those cables should have been more protected from ktm ! all these strearing movements have negative effect on those cables! Any good advise to keep those cables more protected?

the hot glue (the one thats aplyed with the hot glue gun) that i used there is ok?? i mean it wont melt or get fire right??
      Thanks in advance!!
