Re: Kit kit sound from engine
Try to get the tensioner adjusted. There are quite a few videos of this on YouTube.
I searched for the clearances, but couldn't find them anywhere. The closest reference I could find was 0.08mm and 0.12mm in this video - https://youtu.be/mA4f5XJQJCU. Perhaps an owner can confirm these.Originally posted by niranjanreddy891 View PostI own FZ S V2.0. After changing timing chain and chain tensioner, I am getting kit kit sound from engine. Is it due to tappets?

Thanks for your response man. If someone confirms these values then it will be great. Also, I adjusted chain tensioner too. But no difference.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostTry to get the tensioner adjusted. There are quite a few videos of this on YouTube.

Re: Kit kit sound from engine
Can you post a video regarding the sound from the engine because engine noise is pretty common in FZ Series particularly in version 2.Originally posted by niranjanreddy891 View PostThanks for your response man. Re: Kit kit sound from engine
The noise is due to valves. I changed valves and valve seals. It solved my problem.Originally posted by truelypulsarian View PostCan you post a video regarding the sound from the engine because engine noise is pretty common in FZ Series particularly in version 2.
