    Man I am finally done with exams and shit. Now will start on the project.
    Today morning I checked out the wirings under the seat.I saw the cable coming from the stator plate.
    Man it has 8 wires.
    Which ones do i have to run through the rectifier?
    I will start with building the rectifiers.
    Do I have to use generalised Circuit board or get a copper or glass epoxy ckt board and etch the circuit using FeCl??
    First start building the rectifier. Use a general circuit board. It can be done much easily and quickly this way. If you want to etch a circuit, it will drive up the cost of the project with no apparent added benefits.

      Follow the cable from the coil to the male/female socket. See for the Yellow coloured with Red line wire, only one single wire. This has to be CUT! Now when have splitted them, the one coming from the coil will go to your custom rectifier and the one towards the BCU will go to battery via switch!

      Actually you need not use a PCB. It's just a rectifier, you can make it without any boards!

            i looked there first. i don't think this particular spec is mentioned. thats why i asked. anyways, will look again.

              Maybe it is not there. Some manufacturers do not put it there. Indian bikes generally have around 100W output.

                  ^^ it would be 35/35. But as it has a smaller battery, so battery charging current needed would be lesser too. So, the coil output would definitely be lesser than the 100W found in bikes with 7/9AH battery.

                    AFAIK you have converted to a battery run headlamp.
                    Now all you need to do is use the AC line from the coil which used to run the headlight in stock setup to charge the battery. This way you'll have two charging mechanisms for the battery running parallel so that the rate of charging the battery will increase to support the HID kit.

                    BTW is your HID kit 65watt?
                    Have you got projector for it too?

                    Well i have never cut and joind wires. have had many electrocuting experiences
                    anything with the engines nt the wires....
                    so kindly tell me a mech who can act on ur suggestion...and kindly elaborate

                      Ya, but again if the headlight makes 35W, we don't much either, if i'm not wrong apart from Horn, brake light and turn signal, there's no other load on the battery especially self starting.

                      So, with that I can say - A RX135, can have a HID provided it has a 5Ah. Battery.

                          interesting thing i noticed. i opened up my headlamp. cleaned the whole thing, glass, reflector and bulb with colin and a soft cloth and fit everything back. it was really really dirty.

                          now after fitting it back, the neutral light, the high beam light and the indicator arrow light on the instrument console has stopped working. (prolly wires have gotten loose/discon) but the amount of light from the headlamp has increased drastically. in the sense, not still how much i want it, but a huge increase over the pathetic intensity earlier. in comparison of what it was earlier, the increase is shocking really.

                          what i don't understand is, the flashers work off the battery, and the headlamp works off the coil. but when i turn the flasher on, the headlamp intensity drops and surges in tune to the indicators flashing. how come ?? shouldn't the headlamp intensity only be varying with the rpm ???

                            That could happen - Either the battery is totally dead, and the flasher is straining the coil, or the flasher's are shorting!

                              its a brand new battery. just about a week old.
                              can you elaborate on what you mean by "flashers are shorting" ??

                                Maybe your charging circuit is shot and battery does not get charged.

                                Flashers may create a short circuit when they operate. This maybe because they are defective. But if this dimming does occur even if you put another load like pressing the brake and switching ON the brake light, then flasher is not faulty.
