I think my rocker arm bearing is making noise (chew chew chew chew phew cheeew etc kind of, when the bike is running at constant speed or when it is decelerating, the sound doesn't come out when it's accelerating )and you have to change the whole rocker arm unit to fix that.
After looking at the part numbers of both new and old Pulsar 180 (UG4 vs UG3), I found out that, the newer Pulsar series post 2008 models started to include bearing-less rocker arms instead of the old bearing based rocker arms. I guess it should be an "improved" part# over the older one since that's what humans do. Make the world a better place, right !? Although I'm not sure of Bajaj but.... nevermind !
Since I am about to change the rocker arms, I am wondering if anyone is sure of the backward compatibility of the new set of rocker arms on the old UG3 180's head ? I mean, can I buy the new ones and be in the impression that they will fit perfectly and expect them to work perfectly?
Many thanks, bless you all!
