so brake pads wearing out in 10K is okay, nothing to be worried about.
but yes i dont pay 2300 bucks for pads.
I am using ASK pads on my zma and they cost 100 bucks-lol.
i have not compared them to OEM pads,as i switched after my first set gave way.
and must say ASK pads have never dissapointed me
I use the same ASK pads in my RTR too....ZMA,cbz and RTR oads are the same. If u feels ASK is'nt worth then u might as well try RTR oads in ur ZMA. But ASK has'nt dissappointed me till now. 5k kms and its still got lot more in it!

I changed te pads in my ZMA at approx 11K kms. You can check the thickness as Sarvajit mentioned. Or the usual indication is a steely grating sound when you brake!

But if the brake pads really cost 2300, u'd be better off getting EBC ceramic brake pads thru DSG at 2000.
I'm using them on my Aquila now and they are amazing. Reduces the braking noice too, if u had them !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Wat are the pros of these pads bro?

Do they last longer than conventional ones? Looking at the cost and material(ceramic), i guess it should!

Brake pads depend on the brake usage. But they said under normal conditions they last for 20K kms. I really do not care bout that, coz the brake feel has improved a lot. I routinely have to slow down from speeds more than 100kmph and the pads do a splendid job.

Also the back of the pad is copper not steel. So it doesn't make noise with the calipers. All in all I found them definitely worth it !!

Yeah, except for those who beleive that they "enjoy quality" by paying more for something similar!

Ajay, for 100 bucks you get ASK disc pads (ASK is OEM supplier to Honda in India). Ask for old CBZ disc pads and you get them in automobile shops. They are direct fit.

I am currently using them for the past 5 months. All happies.

isnt it risky when you go at 130 and need to break hard and you know that you arnt running on a original pad ?
I break very hard at even 100 kmph i used to brake very hard and there were no signs of any locking up or bad break feel.
You have to go for the trusted brands.
Someone has mentioned ASK its good then there's TVS, KBX, Pricol etc who make pads as good as or sometimes better then OEMs.
