  • Royal Enfield Classic Accessories: Touring Seats

    Hello fellow xBHPians!

This is my first post here. For backgrounds my daily rider is a RE C 350 BS4 GMG and my commute is about 60 kms in a day. I had gotten the stock seats cushioned at Rao Seats in Bangalore but I haven't found it to improve the seat comfort for long rides by all that much. About 50% of my commute is the airport road in Bangalore and the rest is from Hebbal to Indiranagar. So it's like the best and worst riding conditions each side of the commute.

I have been contemplating getting my seats upgraded to the Touring Seats offered by RE. Since they cost about INR2,500 for the rider seat and INR2,000 for the pillion seat I wanted to make sure they were worth the upgrade. I tried looking for reviews on Youtube and here but mostly people have reviewed the seats for the Twins and not the Classic.

Are the touring seats worth the price and the upgrade? Would really like to hear from first hand experiences before I go ahead and get them.

I have found a video review on YouTube about the touring seats from Royal Enfield.
It's in Hindi so i'm unable to understand what he's saying.

      Hope you can!

Thank you so much for sharing this! This helps a lot.
For your reference in this video the rider got his handlebar and seats replaced. He says the touring seat is softer and felt more comfortable.
I haven't really been riding this year but once I start touring again I might give this a try.
