Hello ! My name is Amit Kumar Bose. I own a 2006 Hero Honda Karizma 225 Sports (The 1st Generation One). My headlight was 35/35W as it came from factory till 2019 December but after that I changed it to Osram Rallye HS1 Halogen 62185RL 45/40W without any modification. The Visibility increased but not much. I urgently need to upgrade the light of my Karizma because these days my Highway riding has increased in a particular route Kolkata - Jamshedpur - Kolkata (300Km approx).
As for now my Headlight is running in HS1 setup with Exide 7Ah Battery.
What will be the best modification that I can do ?
How much will it cost ?
Do I have to change the alternator ?
As per discussion with a Mechanic - He said I need a H4/HB2 Headlight Ceramic Bulb Holder 3 Pin Female Socket with Wire Cable & a Relay of 12V40Ah and then can fit Philips H4 12342 Premium Halogen Headlight Bulb (60/55W) which will give me a decent visibility.
I therefore request to kindly suggest me.
