  • Use Suzuki Gixxer Rear Mono shock in Yamaha FZS v1

    Hello everyone

I am riding Yamaha FZ-S V1 2013 model. 50,000 km+ running. However, after riding Suzuki Gixxer, it seems to me that its rear mono shock in its default adjustment is bit stiffer than that of FZ-S default rear shock setting. And it felt more responsive in city traffic. Also, I tried adjusting my FZ-S' rear mono shock in the harder side. As a result the pillion seat had gone up very high and it had became difficult to access for my second rider.

Is it possible to install Gixxer's rear monoshock in FZ-S? If FZ-S rear monoshock is swapped with Gixxer's, will it give good feedback?

I want to know other FZ-S / Gixxer rider thoughts about this matter?

    Regards
