Cutting off Fuel while completing a ride

    Cutting off Fuel while completing a ride

    Friends

    I have a habit of cutting off fuel supply while approaching my destination say within 20 metres. I am not sure if it is right to do so.

    Please do clarify.

      Me too. Actually, there was a problem of fuel leak from the carbooter of my old bike, due to which I had to do this, but over the time it became my habit.

        Well but is it really alright to cut off fuel just before reaching your destination?

          Its alright just that you're wearing the petcock faster than it normally would. But still you shouldn't have much issues with doing this.
