    Fifth Gear not working in RC 200

    About my bike,

    KTM RC 200 (2015), Ridden very less, and only ever serviced at the authorized service centers.

    My bike seems to have a weird problem, only the fifth gear does not engage, the bike runs on neutral when I put it in fifth.
    Other gears 1,2,3,4 and 6, work just fine.

    Any idea what might be wrong. Taking it to the SVC in a couple of days but I'd like to have an idea of what might be wrong before that.

      I had same issue long back in my Pulsar 220, the issue was gear teeth were broken. They had to open up complete gearbox and engine and replace that particular gear cog. Might be same issue with your bike too.

        Yeah I took it to the svc and they said it might be the same thing. Can you tell me how much it cost you to get it repaired again?

          The parts cost was only 600-700 if i remember correctly but the labour was huge as it resulted in full engine dismantling and again assembling it back. The labour was 4500 or 5000 and total bill was close to 7000 with misc expense.
