  • R15 V3 BS6 pulling towards left side

Hey everyone. I just picked up a new R15 B3 BS6 on the 28th of July and while I rode it in the evening the same day, I realised that when I let my hands off the handlebars at any speed like 50-60-70 the bike tends to pull towards the left side.

To double check if this is because of crowned roads (High in middle or towards divider and lower towards the sides), I rode it in the wrong side as well. I got the tire pressure done and everything but the issue remains. I then went to service center and not to my surprise they said its not even an issue and it cannot be rectified.

They called a 3rd party mechanic and had him inspect when balance just by touching it and he said the balance is fine. I wonder why the bike steers perfectly otherwise and have no handling or wobbling issues whatsoever.

If anyone has faced similar issue or is currently facing and got it rectified please feel free to drop your experiences.

    Thanks

Might be there is a Bend in shock absorber? I think you need to ask your friends to ride it and then ask them if they too feel the same.

I rode my friend's r15 v2 which has 14k kms on odo and it went just fine. It went in a straight line even in very low speeds. However mine tends to pull towards left.

I meant ask one of your friends to ride your motorcycle and take his feedback.

my friend didnt ride it. But service center guys did and they agreed to it but said its very minor . and they say this bcoz they had to fix it on their own expense.

I always find it hard to trust service centre guys on such issues because they are lazy and also they really don't care about your motorcycle if they don't receive any extra 'benefit' from your side. That's why I asked you to let one of your friends ride and take his feedback. Also do check if the chassis is perfectly aligned with the rear tyre.

Then I won't be able to suggest mechanics in your area. Anyways please inform if the problem gets rectified or if there is any update.

Do check if the forks on the bike's upper triple clamp are lopsided. That means one is more longer than other when measured from the top of the upper triple clamp.
Get your rear wheel aligned properly.
                            Or
Get the fork tubes or upper stanchions changed if still facing pulling issue as they might be slightly bent.

Cheap solution: if you don't want to change your fork tubes, take it to a machinist(lathe machine wale bhaiya) and get it straightened.

Complete these steps and if still the problem persists, write it down in the comments.

                            Ride safe, Ride hard.

The SVC guys have asked me to ride it untill the first service and see if the issue persists. Although i dont want them to tinker around with my bike coz i simply do not trust them. matter of fact they do not even have all the equipments, they say they will havebto open up the front and send it to some shop somewhere else. Could you suggest any reputed garage who might look into this. Like speedmonks in mayapuri and gurgaon or maybe someone else.
