  • Issue in my 2012 pulsar 200NS

It's rev limiter light above the speedometer starts glowing even when I just start the bike.

Also, when I stop the bike even after just riding for 1-2 kms and put it on neutral, it starts getting revved automatically like it is on choke.

    What can be the issue?

Don't know about the rev limiter light but the automatic rev Seems like a carb issue. Anyways what's the reading on the odometer?

There was some problem in the digital meter that's why even after having full tank of petrol, this light was glowing due to low fuel. I've got it fixed some days back.
And for the automatic rev issue,I will show it to the service center and let's see what they will say.
And the reading on odometer is just 18k as for most of the time,I was out of the city due to studies and there was no one to ride it.

It is solved now. I've just adjusted the rev setter a little bit and the issue is gone completely.
Also I want to ask you something that after riding for long on high speeds,a burning smell comes out from the bike.
            Is it normal?
(I am asking this because my friend also have a 2018 pulsar ns200 and same burning smell comes from his bike when riding for long on high speed)

Yes there will be a burning smell when you ride for too long at high speeds.
