Glitchy ABS
The ABS on my 16’ RC390 is glitchy these days. After cranking her up, the ABS warning light disappears as I start riding and it shows up in between a ride(the levers feel tight and tyres lockup on braking). Again on turning off and the ignition, the issue is solved for the time being(tyres don’t lockup then) and the warning lamp comes up after a while. What could be the problem? I’ve never taken this bike for pressure washing just because such pressurised steam of water may affect the ABS. Buddies please help me with this, I mainly use it for street riding and with such a glitchy ABS, I don’t have the same confidence that I used to have before.Tags: None

Re: Glitchy ABS
Hello there! My ride is almost 3 years old now and it has only run only 16K Kms. Actually a guy from abroad offered me an ABS unit, but how do I know it is a proper unit or not(He converted his bike for track hence, offering me the unit)Originally posted by dreamgrowls View PostHow old is you ride? I had the same issue. Do check my write up on the 2014 rebuild.
First thing is get an obd error code check.
Re bleed the entire system.
Reset the ecu.
Check again.
Mine one of the brush inside was shorter due to wear and tear

Re: Glitchy ABS
I got no pictures from the guy. Bro, I cant really get out of my house because this region has been tagged 'containment zone'. Once they lift all this, I will get an OBD scan done.Originally posted by dreamgrowls View PostNot sure what you guy has, but you can check part number on top, will be an 11 digit number, something like in pic shown below.
Do you have the pic btw from the guy?
Also why dont you try checking error codes? And fixing ?
