  • Filled excessive Engine Oil

    Hello xBhpians,

I changed Engine Oil in My Pulsar 150 today. I Got Motul 3100 1.15L litre pack but Pulsar 150 oil sump capacity is 1.1L. It's recommended to fill 1,000ml for refills and 1,100ml for engine overhaul. I have filled 150ml extra engine oil. (I didn't notice the package before filling.)

Should I drain some oil or is it fine?

Worm up the engine by starting the vehicle around 5min. Then while the bike on main i.e center stand see the oil level from oil indicator if it is around high the don't worry, but if it is very high then use medical kit(injection and tube) for sucking the extra oil from oil filler neck.

Usually My bike wont show engine oil level when in side stand it'll only show when it's on a flat surface in mainstand . Anyway I'll try this and see ! Thanks

One does not check for oil level on side stand!
