  • Bajaj avenger 150 Street won't start

I recently bought a second-hand Avenger 150 Street 2016 model. I only bought it for my father who rarely goes outside. Yesterday, I took the bike for a ride. I did notice that engine oil level was very low but I thought I would change it later.

After about 70kms, I noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust. After another 30kms, I decided to stop for drinks, so I did. Stopped the ignition. After that, the bike won't start. I filled engine oil there. But it still won't start. I am guessing it's the bore problem but it would at least start?

I don't know. Engine is not seized though. It's still moving when I push the bike. What could be the problem?

    Please help! Thank you.

White smoke is clear sign of burningof engine oil.
      Push start(dhakka start) didn't work?
Do you hear cranking sound when you press starter?
Did you check spark plug for spark? I think its fouled due to the engine burning oil.

The thing is since you didn't have sufficient engine oil level to lubricate and cool internal parts ( yes engine oil is part of your cooling system too) so I think your timing chain might be shot.

        No Push start didn't work.
Yes engine did crank but just refused to start, holding the Push start button and releasing clutch a little did move the bike a little bit but it stopped as soon as release the Push start button.
        Yes spark was fine.
        Could it be bore?

Cleaning the spark plug worked.but it just pushing a lot of smoke ..I mean a lot.

Yes bore is gone fully this time. You need to check you timing chain too, you will be opening the head anyway.

Oil rings must be gone and the bore scratched, if the damage is not severe, new piston rings a bore of the bore will set it right.
