I recently got my Electra (BS4) serviced (1.5 weeks bsck) . Prior to service, I have dry friction sound everytime I engaged the rear brakes. After the service, my mechanic claimed that the brake shoe was worn off and he had to change it. After that, I took off on a ride and noticed that there is a low squeaking sound when I brought the bike to a lower speed. The problem doesn't start when I start riding. But after 4-5km riding, it starts. Sometimes the sound is more during braking. But otherwise it happens at lower speed at a higher gear.
When I went back to the mechanic he said that since it was a drum brake and there is small gaps, dust may have entered and that causes this problem. But I noticed that the problem remains the same. I am not sure if it is a wheel installation issue, or something else.
Would love some help.
Not sure if I missed any information.
