Any suggestions on how & where can I get the lights installed where they do a neat job with a wiring harness and with patience.

Mechanic/Electrician to do a good job on fixing aux lights in Bangalore
I picked up some aux lights and was scared to let the guys on JC road install it (bad experience in the past). They generally cut the wire first and then say there won't be any problem whereas, it voids the warranty on a new bike.

I was in the same position as you 2 weeks back. I wanted to buy aux lights WITHOUT paying extra for the wiring harness. But I decided to spend the money on wiring harness anyway. BEST DECISION EVER.
The wiring harness has got a separate wire to attach to the ignition connector BUT it doesn't take the main supply from that wire, it's just for keeping the aux lights off when the ignition key is "off". Apart from this, there's no intrusion in the bike's wiring anywhere, it just connects directly to the battery.
The wiring harness and its particular relay makes it all possible. I doubt that an auto electrician will be able to replicate the exact same results, not for cheap at least. I paid rs. 500 extra for the wiring harness, bought the aux bulb and wiring from this link:

Also, avoid that cheap rs.60 switch, it's not waterproof. I bought a better switch on amazon, completely waterproof and durable:
I would suggest you to source a similar kind of wiring harness and avoid custom wiring jobs because of short circuit risks. Also, a separate wiring harness looks better and neat to the SVC guys, if they see a custom wiring job with shoddy taping and splicing, they might raise problems with warranty in the future.
