  • TVS Apache RTR 180 starting issue

My Apache RTR 180 recently got rebored. I had it assembled myself. Now, its not starting. I found the issue as the camshaft is not rotating as I crank the engine, i.e. the piston moves up and down independent of the cam chain. I'm not sure what exactly is the issue as I only removed the block and head of the engine and nothing else. What could be the issue ?

The issue was the cam chain was not in the crankshaft gear. fixed it. can happen this easily if no care is taken with chain guides
