  • Neck pain while riding Dominar

My height is 6". Do I need to install handle raiser on my Dominar (2018 model)

Another thing is that my neck aches if I ride on longer routes.

You definitely need big visor as certain pressure is built up on upper body due to wind. While riding on open road for longer time body started to feel the pain which is higher on neck.
Contact Art of Motorcycle, Bangalore for Visor as well as for Handle bar, they are one of the best in terms of touring setups. Enjoy Riding

I bought the Dominar 400 (2019) in Dec'19. I am 6'3" tall and this was the only motorcycle under 3 lakhs to offer best power with comfort. I use a lightweight helmet and good riding posture i.e. erect back muscles and tank hugging. I have never had neck pain in any kind of motorcycle till date.

People even tour on R15, cbr250r, cbr600rr etc which are extremely track oriented and uncomfortable, they complain of whole body pain but not the neck specifically.

I would advise you to sit closer to the tank, hug it firmly (even on the highway), keep a uniform muscle tension in the upper torso BUT virtually no tension in shoulder muscles so as to keep the palms resting lightly on the handlebar (as compared to putting full body weight on the wrists like we usually do). Even I ride frequently on the highway at around 150 kmph (with stock visor), wind blast is a nuisance for sure BUT it doesn't cause muscle pain per se.

Also get a lighter and well balanced helmet if possible.

P.S. Just a friendly suggestion, I hope you didn't mind. I could be wrong too, as in you could already be doing all of the above and still facing neck pain.
