      I really dont think so...

ZMAs would be longer in length...!

        IMO
        useless mod.
zma handles quite well and is stable enough at corners .

Dude, u've already done the mod that u'll find in Uni's Swingarm (mono shox) to ur Zma, now whats the point behind in changing uni's swing arm on Zma????

              thanks for all your reply
The reason why i now want to use Unicorn swing arm is because i met with an accident in the past and there is a dent on the swing arm, also the swing arm has started to rust where the old shock used to connect.

that's why i feel it is better to mod any bikes's height by welding piece on shock-up instead of going and welding on swing arm for asking trouble...

brah can u post a pic of dent ..

My zma needs a face (simple) lift so i was thinking of this mod for my zma .. i`ll see if the fz swingarm and shox can be mounted on the zma and i saw one zma with fz's rear wheel and it looks good..

It is certainly not that simple as just going and fitting a unicorn swing arm on your bike so I firstly applaud you for your efforts topic poster...

The first thing you probably need to look at are the gains, what exactly do you gain out of fitting a monoshock??
Fitting the FZ swingarm or monoshock on the karizma is a very bad idea and do not worry I'll back that up with a suitable answer as well..

If you guys can tell me what you are looking for with this type of hack/mod I could elaborate on the modification as I have experimented quite succesfully with the same...

unicorn swingaram can be fitted on a karizma...u even have a advantage by doing this karizma has swingarm bushes where as uni has bearings instead of bushes...which is very reliable and lasts very long..

I too have been thinking whether Unicorn arms will will fit karizma. But I have noticed that Unicorn arms are slightly shorter. If so, this will shorten the wheelbase and may change the handling characteristic. I prefer longer wheelbase for their stability. So my next focus was FZ. Seems the FZ arms are quiet long. Maybe even slightly longer than ZMA, I can't say for sure. But if this can fit, I will be going for it. This will also give me chance to fit in the FZ tyres...sweet . Be damn with mileage. If FZ is powerful enough to use them. ZMA is certainly good enough.

@kushanth: You said you saw FZ tyres on ZMA. Noticed whether the arms are FZ? cause I don't think FZ tyres will fit in stock ZMA arms without serious mods.
Do let us know whether FZ arms fits. Sorry for expecting you to be the guinea pig .
