        what about riding tech??
do u ride smoothly or sudden jerks on throttle for over taking etc??
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

are you sure you filled 5 litres ? Maybe someone stole your petrol ?

the mileage figure seems too low for a new bike , whatever the your riding style . anything else unusual in your bike ?

Maybe someone saw your new bike and stole petrol from it or the guy at the petrol bunk didn't fill 5 litres. Do you brake a lot, ride in heavy traffic or rev too much on lower gears? If your riding style is normal then there cannot be any other reason for this.

normally we use reserve to reserve calculation..when ur bike goes into reserve, fill petrol and then see how much u have gone when it hits reserve again..calculate then...
If U haven't Seen GOD, U haven't gone fast enough

Maybe ur bike wanted to taste petrol which is 4 rupees costlier
I have a feeling that either ur petrol was stolen or the bunk guy took YOU for a ride.
dont worry anyway brother. Things will settle down.
Make sure u calculate ur mileage again next time. Use the reserve to reserve method( followed by most of us)
Example: If ur tank comes to reserve now, note down the kilometers and fill some more petrol, say 5 litres. When ur bike comes to reserve again, note the total number of kilometers done from the last reserve. Suppose it comes to say 225km. divide it by 5 and there u get the mileage, 45kmpl.

I would suggest you to fill petrol in a good and reliable bunk. Ask some friends which bunks give good quality & quantity of petrol. And make sure that u fill petrol in the same bunk ( not compulsary, but recommended).
And yeah CONGRATS on the new bike. Ride safe
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET. Even for a very short distance.
