If according to what SHUBSHANKER said that Keihin jets are smaller in size, that means i have fitted a jet which is almost the same size as my Pulsar's jet. Correct?
I am thinking of fitting the P220- 2009's jet. Not sure if I will be able to get it.

please note: after re-jetting (believe it or not) my mileage has increased . I swear.

please find the link to the other post i mentioned ( 2 pictures of the jets)

keihin jets are having smae thread the only diff. is height of thread is diff. and second thing keihin jet has head in diameter. keihin jets can be fitted in mikuni or mikarb but mikarb or mikuni jet can't be fitted in keihin. Trust me I generally tinker lot of things in my workshop when i have empty time.

So if there is only a difference in thread and head diameter, then the diameter of fuel flow will be different? Just temme this. There are two photos of the jets i posted., one is shorter in length and as per ur info that is the keihin jet. There is another pic which shows the diameter.
DO u think there is a difference between the ZMA's 125 jet and the mikuni 117.5 jet? in diameter or should I try passing 100ml of water through them and time it to see which has a broader dia

If u can see the small link on one of my posts above, there are two pictures.
On one jet, 117.5 is clearly inscribed. So doubt no more mate

All these jets are interchangeble with any carb like mikuni, mikarb, keihin but keihin carbs need small diameter jet doh the thred size is same like others. Only diff jets are for spaco or dellorto.
wrong. keihin and mikuni thread pattern is totally different. you try and interchange the both you end up messing the emulsion tube.

                and its PACCO :P

                cheers

                    @ Atul-
Pacco is Delhi based company and Spaco is pune based company.
besides I have checked the uni jet on bullet carb so the jet is perfect.
Keihin jets are suitable for all other brands like mikuni, mikarb. but mikuni, mikarb jets are not suitable for uni carb which is from keihin.

                      Chinmay,

I'm in Pune right now. I need a bigger pilot jet for my LB500's BS29. I am running a 20 pilot and a 125 main. Right now, I am looking for a 25 pilot or 27.5 pilot as my low down torque has gone down after a goldstar silencer fitment. I do have a couple of spare pilots lying around, 15 and 17.5. Do you drill out the pilots in your workshop. Any info would be damn useful and the sooner, the better.

                      Cheers,
                      Jay

Bro, Pilot is only for low idle circuit. U don't need Pilot jet for sure. Pilot at high revs works hardly. U need Main jet. Main jet is pumping more fuel at high revs.

Yes I do have jet for LB500 u can go for 135 or 140 one of them. Yes i do drill main jets (but not pilot) as per need but with some limitations. Besides after goldstar wot other changes u have made please mention it or else call me on 9822212496. I am in Nigdi area.

I haven't made any changes except buying a new stock air filter(scheduled) and my scheduled oil change.

I do know that I need a main jet bhai but my low end also is suffering from poor pull. So, I guess the pilot also needs to be bigger especially for the closed to 1/4th or 1/3rd throttle opening. I was already running a larger 20 pilot(15 is stock) much before the goldie. Also, I was in BLR before the goldie. So, I guess I am running leaner as Pune is lower than BLR wrt MSL.

Also, Thanks a mil for replying.

                          Cheers,

When someone says he has a carb for sale, what should we be expecting?
The carb body, shims, needles, jets etc? I mean whats the bare minimum to look for when buying a carb?
