I want to mod my karizma with a naked look of the Aprila shiver 750 or the honda cb300. As its not having a digital speedo gauge its being quite troublesome to fit the fz-16 s speedo. I would like to know the cable connections ( by a wire or circuit diagram either as posssible ). the sensors which i ll requiire to put in. for the speed and rpm.

I agree to the suggestions given by u guys but just for some knowledge or something .
How abt if i change the front alloy with one of having a digital circuit in it like whether of the pulsar or of the size accordingly. It would fulfill some of the requirements ( speed sensors ). And the fuel gauge is already a electronic one in ZMA so wont ve to do much work for tat. 3 wires of what kind sir. Coz as i see in other bikes carrying a digital one.
It has only a single cable as in front view.
As i ve not yet tried to discover the cable from the meter's socket.
Are you talking abt the 3 wires on the meters socket.

RPM is easy to fit. Electronic RPMs are very much esay to install.
RPM has got 3 wires. - and + and third for pulse which connects to Ignition coil input source.

As in the normal ones we just have a single cable rollin through and makes the meter move.
Then How speed is detected by the meter in digital one. I knw abt the optic cable used tats it.
Then wat sort of wires do we require for the digital ones as there are no mechanical tips in it.Same as for the RPM one.

i was searching whether i could fit a FZ speedometer on karizma, n i found this thread... currently v have converted the karizma into a monoshock setup, & v r testing the fz speedometer..
the speedometer was conneced to karizma by matching the cables with the socket..
for now the neutral light is working & orange backlight during startup
These are showing signal but yet to be tested
1.Fuel gauge
2.rpm.
3.speedometer.
4.service light
we could not test the above because there was no tank fitted & battery was too low to start the bike. sorry for the blurred pics
