I managed to locate a Pondychery registered 1992 Bullet for 13 k in Chennai. He has the RC book in his name. No insurance papers. No NOC from Pondy. And the tax is not renewed. I like the bike and I think it's possible to get it registered properly in my name. Can someone suggest the RTO procedure for this?
Can the NOC obtained from pondichery for a tax expired bike? And also, should any penalty be paid for not paying the tax so long?
Do you guys think the deal is worth the pain?
