  • Pulsar Handle Bar

    Hi Guys,
I have an Pulsar 150 Dtsi.
I have removed that handle weights from the two ends of the handle of the pulsar and i have inserted the handgrip of Honda Unicon.
So i would like to know by removing that handle weights is their going to be any problem for my bike?
Also I have done this to remove the extra weights from the bike because i have heard that the less the weight of ur bike the more faster ur bike will run.
So i would like that removing handle bars can effect the performance of the bike?

Oh man, these bar end weights hardly would weigh 100 gms each. An u expect performance gains from that? Great!
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

The bar-end weights are there to dampen vibrations from the engine and make your ride smoother. Removing them will not affect the bike, it will result in your hands absorbing the vibrations transmitted to the handlebars.

There is absolutely nothing you stand to gain in performance/mileage from this minuscule weight reduction.

Infact removing handle bar weights would mean you get to feel more vibes on higher RPMs!

If u experience extremely irritating vibrations in the handle put those bar end weights back

dont remove the handle weights... if you want smoother ride u might wanna switch to P180's handle....more over in most bikes that come out i think they have handled the weight distribution properly.......... so if u really wanna see some performance changes i think prolly u shud think in lines of having light weight chassis......

Now i have that honda unicon handle grips for my p150, but to put back those bar weights the two ends of the grips should be open.
But the two ends of unicon grips are closed, i can't even tear it out .
Should i remove back those hand grps and put back those pulsar grips?
Also the pulsar grips poke to the hands after driving for the long time?
If possible suggest for nice grips and where do i get it in mumbai or thane?
If no solution is their should i put back those pulsar original hand grips which i have it with me right me?
