Power 1 is good enough. Although I have noticed that the clutch in my UG3 slips occasionally when Power 1 is used.Maybe this is a problem specific to my bike.
Activ 4t is good too.

I would vote for mak from BP. had it put in last time and next 2500 kms there werent much issues...clutch was smoother......Power 1 is also really good. you can also look for Mobil 1 mineral oils...

u cud go for valvoline synthetic 10w40..great oil..260 bucks a litre..also oil change depends on how u rip your bike...oil cud be changed in an interval of 1500-2500 kms depending on your riding style..
if u ride her like u did in the run-in period,it may well extend to 4000kms too..

Change it anywhere between 1k~2.5k kms depending upon the type of oil used.(Mineral/SS)

If it is a fully synthetic one like Motul 300V, u can sure use it for 5k kms atleast with just topping up.

U used Power 1 in ur 180? U have used the wrong grade. No wonder ur clutch slipped

Go for Motul 10W50 MA2 perfect for Indian motorcycle.
Servicing period of your motorcycle is written in your manual, check it.
But 3-4K is perfect.

I havent heard of any Motul 10W50 oil

Honda Unicorn 2005 Oil change Interval

Hey guys I have lost my owners manual during my transfer from Mumbai to Bangalore, hence I am now a bit confused (3/4k km) about the oil change interval for my Unicorn (2005).

Currently I am using the stock Honda engine oil which I feel is not that great, can you guys suggest me a better oil & approx cost?

I am also curious about the performance of our Indian brands like BP Mak-4 T, HP racer etc oils.

I am sorry. My mistake, it's 15W50, not 10W50. it is mineral and cost is 230Rs.
Grade is 15W50 < API SM MA2
