1. The AirFilter - Which was cleaned , and so was the air filter box whatever was possible from the lil gap.
2. Spark plugs are 6k kms old. Was cleaned, gap checked and put back.
3. I spent around 3 hours testing A/F mixtures to see if this could be the issue. In vain. Then I thought maybe I got it wrong, so told the PBK mech to re-tune, nope, no improvement whatsoever.
4. My tappets were checked and reset.
5. Tank was cleaned.
Although cruising is not a problem and I did finish a 200km trip on friday this is proving to be bad in the city.
Now the mech did point me out to something new. He said, it could be that my Clutch plates are worn out. Now my question is, has anybody experienced sputtering when the clutch plates are worn out? Any correlation? My clutch plates ARE worn out, but I wana know if there is actually any co-relation b/w the two.
Secondly, what else could it be?
