The logic is simple.
The A150/Fiero/Flame all have 240mm disc
The RTR has a 270mm petal disc.
A larger dia disc gives better braking bite and its not about the show alone. Petals look cool, and so does it help in improving the braking bite.
To switch to the RTR disc, u need to change the right lower tube to the RTR and also change caliper as the mount is higher. Rest are a direct fit.sigpic

I have changed my apache 150's 240 mm disc to 270mm petal discs of RTR with some welding in disc caipers to change its angle to accommodate 270 mm petal disc.. Total cost was around 2500/-. Done it from a authorized TVS servicing center. The mechanic has got very good knowledge in conversion without changing much parts.. Braking is awesome.
If u don't want to go for welding job(as it is risky if not done properly by proper hands) you have to do the parts changes as joel said. It is the straight forward method. But it will be little costly.

The flame has a 90/90 tyre at front and 3.00 x 18 or 90/90 rear depending on the model. Nyws, i'll change the rear to a 100/90 soon.Originally posted by Puneet1 View PostI thought the Flame has a thinner tyre thsn RTR

Are u sure about the right lower tube? the only difference between them is a metal clamp added to the lower tube caliper mounts, which changes the angle for the 270mm disc. if its the whole right lower tube, i think i've to think again.Originally posted by Joel View PostThe logic is simple.

Why did u go for a welding job? that too on a safety feature as brakes?Originally posted by johnjojo08 View PostI have changed my apache 150's 240 mm disc to 270mm petal discs of RTR with some welding in disc caipers to change its angle to accommodate 270 mm petal disc..
