  • Requirements to get sponsorship

Hello to all the respested members and moderators of xBHP.com. I ride a pulsar220 DTS-Fi. I and few of my friends together make a small group of bikers. We want to ride, tour and travel. But as all of us earning their own breads, we face financial problems in touring to places like LEH(ladakh), as we don't have riding gears, not enough money to spend. We have done 2 trips: Chandigarh and Rishikesh. All of us are freak of touring. I want to whether xBHP.com can support us. OR what should we do to get some sponsor or our trip.

xBhp.com is an online bikers' community, a place where bikers come together to discuss everything and anything under the sun but mostly related to biking and motorcycles. It is not a corporate house that is looking to get mileage by sponsoring people for their rides. On the contrary, we look for sponsors to keep the space, the site running in order to keep the community alive and working.

Here members do their trips and travelling and touring however small or big entirely on their own steam despite financial difficulties and constraints. All of us here have had financial difficulties. Some of us still do. If you want to get your trips sponsored, you will have to approach corporate houses with your biking experience portfolio and a good Statement of Purpose.

    Welcome to xBhp.

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

hey Ken ... would you happen to know of print magazines which actually cover Adventure trips like lets say a Delhi Sri Leh Manali Leh by motorcycles etc ... We are looking for a print media coverage and then would be approaching corporate houses for sponsorships. As far as the group is concerned each of us (about 6) have upwards of about 5k kms of roadtrips per say so I am guessing the abilities will not be doubted.

Would appreciate if you could give any kind of information. We are primarily looking at print media coverage as a luring factor for corporate houses, if thats the right way of looking at it.

I pray, dear God please protect my ride
And if I lay down my bike today
I pray to God I walk away...
I walk away to ride another day

              1. Create a detailed plan: Before approaching any potential sponsors or donors, make sure to have a well thought-out plan for your trip. Include your itinerary, estimated budget, and the benefits that the sponsor or donor would receive in return for their support.
              2. Reach out to potential sponsors: Start by reaching out to motorcycle-related companies such as riding gear manufacturers, bike dealerships, and even local businesses in your area. You can also try to reach out to tourism boards, as they might be interested in promoting tourism to their area.
              3. Offer something in return: In exchange for their support, offer to promote their brand or product on your social media accounts or other platforms. You could also offer to wear or use their products during your trip and feature them in your photos and videos.
              4. Crowdsource funding: You can try to crowdfund your trip by creating a campaign on platforms such as Kickstarter, GoFundMe, or Milaap. Make sure to offer incentives to donors such as personalized postcards or merchandise.
              5. Look for grants: Some organizations offer grants for travel or adventure-related projects. Research these grants and see if your trip aligns with their requirements.

Remember to always be polite and professional when reaching out to potential sponsors or donors. Good luck and happy riding!
