Get ready to do some juggad for

      1) The front number plate (U have to drill some holes onto the font panel/stickerize the number plate)
      2) The side stand ( some welding/after market stuff required)

HMSI doesnt provide a provision for both.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

i am sure that you are wrong here, recently i bought a brand new Honda Activa back home. and all the accesories including the SIDESTAND and the front number plate were supplied by HONDA though they were not HONDA stuff but no jugads were done to fit any of them

        -----------

Now make it to the enqiury

Man this is a simple and kinda a perfect college student or a DADY comutter. so keept it that ways the millage coums out around 45 as per my dad. and the handeling dont expect knee downs. but its fair enough for a scooter. oh you can get a tubeless tyre. but remember a normal OEM tyre with tube costs aroun 700 Gandhies and the tubeless is around 1600-1700 and that too a over size these prices are delhi prices, if you are in bombay or some where in south be ready to pay some stupid price.(I still can get over some one askin 30000 for a RX in south WTF)

Avoid accessories offered by the dealer as much as possible. All are highly priced and quality is not good. So limit accessories to bare minimum and as per your need. All chrome plated guards normally last only one season of rain (very poor quality and rust rapidly - but depends on dealer).

Have you completely decided to go for Activa ? How about bike ?

Honda does provide side stands and number plates, but they charge you for those accesories, apart from the on road price of the scooter you pay..

Talking about the scooter, the new facelifted 110cc engine is a good welcome on the activa, but if you are serious and have decided to go for a scooter than probably the best scooter would be the Suzuki Access

Suzuki has got almost everything in a better magnitude than Activa - better pulling power, better looks, much better ride quality, better performance, better handling and a lower sadle along with an almost similar mileage....though its a tad costlier than the activa...

I have ridden the older version of activa extensively and also abused it extensively. It is rock solid. The suspension of the older versions sucked big time. Try the aviator. its telescopic front forks must be better than the activa's front suspension.
Riding gearless scooters in the rains is pure fun.!!The new activa must be better than the older one. White looks splendid IMO. Get a test ride of all the 100cc scooters available and judge accordingly!

Oh flashbacks of the old memories!!

I have ridden the activa for some time. It is easy to ride in the city traffic. It gives a mileage around 40.

If your travelling 50 kms every day, go get a bike. small wheels on a scooter give u a rough ride. I personally cannot ride a scooter long enough before my back starts hurting.

after riding R15 whenever i put my hands on dio

it feels like i am riding suspension less bike

anyways activa will return you a mileage around 45..

I own a 4 year old Activa. I am really happy with it.
If you want a variomatic scooter, go for this one.
