    i hope not....

may the engine have the similar arch but the fueling is diff....

cbz has 22 venturi carb & zma should be 25/26 venturi one which is big...

uni/hunk/xtreme/achiver have same engine & same carb of 24 venturi one......but the jet size vary in a big range 115/128/128/112

so having a bigger carb will not ruin the A/F ratio if set in a pro way.

cost of a carb is not a world it is Rs.4000 - 5000/- (may be a world big cost)

A unicorn jet size of 115 simply didn't match my carb. All the money down the drain. The jet of unicorn was way too small and that of my cbz is some what bigger. So the jet did go in without rotating it!

I guess achiver has 118 main jet may be that can be used. Wat's your take on it? Will it fit in...???

Hi Dream horse...... My cbz's jet size is 105. Yes I have bought the main jet. I didnt get it anywhere. After 2 day's of hunt I managed to get it in 1 small showroom of honda. It did cost 70 bucks for the same. Cudnt even get zma's jet. Nor achivers jet here. Hero honda spares shop is crap. Pathetic experience I have got from them. We have around 3 showrooms over here and none of them have zma's jet nor the achivers jet.

Unicorn Jets are smaller in form factor and they do not git in CBZ carb, for better results you can use ZMA carb for your CBZ will gain both Initials and Top end as you have already done mods on piston/Air filter.
Adding a Free Flow would also be an added advantage.

i purchased the zma jets for Rs.146/- it fitted my carb well & good..

works fine too there is slight drop in mileage but the pick up gone very well above the avg & rev the nut till 10k (uni does only till 9.5 k)

even as bhargava_sr said u can go with the new carb even iam planning for one but need to go i to details of the TPS to fit ign curve

i enquired for zma carb & they said it cost Rs.4880/- which is 26 venturi

i request u not to change the stroke setup as this is the only one bike in india with such a short stroke where u can make the nut to rev till 11k with ease

go for 29 carb with smaller jet say 115/118 change the sprocket to 14/40

have 100 sec tyre at rear (bigger than this will drag) & use the old classic exhaust which as big out let & less restriction too.....

                    best of luck

4880? My, my.....It doesnt come cheap. I have the old exhaust alright. I use a dunlop geo cruser 100/90.....Running a 14/42 combination. FIne I wont change the stroke setup. But I have zma cyliner kit lying around. I had thought of putting it to some good use on my cbz. Replacing the camshaft, timing chain and timing gear, Karizma's piston....to build a zma out of cbz. Crank shaft seems to be a problem. Its cost a bomb 3990/-...Can I make the cbz crank shaft the same as that of zma...???

i hope it cannot be done as the stroking angle may change (im not a expert though)

                        have u brought the kit....

rather than spending 3k+ u can go with carb....as there will be some more mod cost will be involved for the zma crank swaping

just study the cam profile & learn which as the advantage go for that one i think timing chain doesn't req to change as the stroke is not changed

just increase the CR, go for rev limiter less CDI, big carb with free free flow filter will all do the magic

this is from my side ask the experts lets see...........

                          Am busy somewhere.

@ Maxx -Two sketches For your info.

As you inquired, for calculating the size of the wire, I was able to insert 14 wires and still had room for two more wires. So one wire occupied 1/16 of area of 125 jet, i.e., around 7.5. So two wires reduced 125 jet to 109-110.

42 rear sprocket is overall the best for CBZ.

Thanx tech.... I got it now.....Now 125 with the wire would be better or 123 without the wire mod will be better....??? If we get the wire it would be 118 sized....Which one has the max performance gain in terms of low range and mid range. Tech could you please post the specs of your baby along the modd's done till date....??? Thanx a lot....
