You can use any method. The objective is to make the jet mimick a jet of size 109-110 for low and mid range. You can go upto 115 if you are using any aftermarket filter. With wire method, you can make any number of iterations.Thanx tech.... I got it now.....Now 125 with the wire would be better or 123 without the wire mod will be better....??? If we get the wire it would be 118 sized....Which one has the max performance gain in terms of low range and mid range. Tech could you please post the specs of your baby along the modd's done till date....??? Thanx a lot....
I continue fiddling with my bike, sometimes with good results, sometimes with not so good results.
For low and mid range, I would suggest a jet of 110 size, CR raised to 9.5:1(by removing base gasket), genuine camshaft of Karizma(ZMA camshaft is almost like Stage 1 camshaft of CRF 150 aka CBZ), unrestricting exhaust somewhat and the results will be satisfactory. Be careful, your camshaft timing chain and camshaft sprocket should be in A-1 condition, or use new preferrably. I have had very bad experience if they are not tight and precise enough.

Tech...
After removing the base gasket what has to be done? I got the camshaft and the other things. Well And I am looking for dese, I have a zma's cyliner kit ready. I am plannin to buy the piston and piston rings of zma. Zma camhsaft and zma's pushrod. And tech please also let me know if I am putting the cylinder kit of karizma what all things things is necessary to put up? The piston is compulsory i understand so are the piston rings. Just in case if I wanna reduce the cost incurred in dese parts?Originally posted by Technician View PostYou can use any method. After removing the base gasket, the cylinder and head are to be fitted back again without any other change. This is for CBZ's original set-up.
If you want to convert to ZMA set-up, do so by utilising all the components of the ZMA viz., piston, rings, crankshaft, con-road, timing chain, studs, cylinder, some modification to crankshaft GBD to accept CBZ's clutch assembly, etc. Don't do mismatch components of CBZ and ZMA. There is an old thread by the title of Nav318 CBZ somewhere. Try finding it.The Original CBZ

I have got zma's piston rings, piston, cylinder, piston, piston lock and piston pin. Can buy the timing chain, pushrod's and timing gear if at all they are necessary. The crank shaft is tadd too costly. 3220 bucks for the crankshaft. If i can modd without the crankshaft it will be good enough. got the entire idea from nav318 cbz 's thread. Please help me getting this correct. Thanx a million tech.....Originally posted by Technician View PostAfter removing the base gasket, the cylinder and head are to be fitted back again without any other change. Update 1:- Got the camshaft today,Looks in good condition. Expecting cylinder kit, head and crankshaft till 2morrow. Lets see......Dude, navpreet has changed the entire head on his cbz and has put zma's head. Recent update from him.....I guess he has changed the crackshaft too.....Lets see....."At speeds of 160 Miles Per Hour or say 257.44Kilometer Per Hour You realize the actual speed of your life, Life is Supersonically Fast, Don't miss anything, cause you know it wont come back to you again"

Are Bhai, some clarification for your help.
Heads on both bikes share almost same volume, chamber, valves. Only outer appearance is different. Save your money.zma cylinder
piston
crankshaft assembly
2 longer engine studs.(there are 2 short and 2 long ones in the cbz.now you'll have to use 4 long ones)
new packing
zma timing chain.
and now a crucial part.you wont get it.
there is a gear which is fitted on the crankshaft.its called the GBD gear.it drives the clutch assembly.
now the thing is that the cbz crankshaft has a toothed fitting for this where as the zma crankshaft has a keylock type.
both cbz and zma GBD gears have different number of outer teeth so you cannot use the zma gear in your cbz.ok.
Also, with CBZ's piston's dome (5 cc or so) missing in ZMA set-up, the ZMA set-up would achieve 9.5/10:1 CR only with thinner gaskets/ no gasket. That is it. Navpreet had not used ( as above) even ZMA camshaft which has 8 degree more intake time and higher lift camshaft specs. And then 22 mm Carb vs. 26/30 mm Carb issue.
Read the bibe of ZMA/CBZ engine internals, link below catched form:

Re: CBZ Jets
I've been looking for a 130 size main jet for my Hunk.
Found it on jetsrus but the jet costs lesser than the shipping!
I called a few auto accessories shops and none of them have it. I was considering getting a stock Main Jet and then taking it to a lathe and ask them to upsize it. Will that work?Hero Honda Hunk 2011, RC'ed, DC'ed, MC'ed! :P
