  • Help required with Pulsar 180Dtsi

Pulsar 180 DTsi the old model the one which had spokes and not mags my friends owned it. Recently it started wobbling since last 3 days. It was Wobbling at 60kmph speed. Today he did show it to the service center guy at wasan bajaj here in nashik. He was told that the wheel had gone out. So, Wheel out needed to be repaired. He did kept his 180 in the service centre for two hours. Later after returning back. They said it's alrite and even gave a test ride to make sure evrything was alright with the bike. But on returning back home from the service center and doing some highway stints. The pulsar was wobbling at 50kmph. And the handle was feeling heavy? It wasnt handling as it was handling previously. He got the feel that its way too heavy and found it difficult to manuver in city streets. What might be the problem with that pulsar....??? Please throw some light on this. Thank-You!

ah! exact problem existed in mine too... bike wobbles exactly in the range 50-65kmph and after that its normal... there was a fork bend and also had to replace my cone set... that solved the wobbling for me..

I bike was rebalanced just yesterday. He did consult the bajaj people and they told that its the problem of spokes. And you need to get the entire spokes of the front rim replaced. I am still wondering if that could be the problem? Forks are perfectly fine. The front suspension's setting were done 2 months back. Actually it was lying at his house for a year and nobody drove it. So it had all kinds of problems and he got them fixed at once. Something wrong with the rim. As you drive the wheel, you can see it clearly that's going two way's, much like a out of autorickshaw's rear tyre. You dont even have to see it minutely its easily noticeable. Possible reason for wobbling. What do you think am i going right with my scrutinizing?
