why do you wana ruin the rawwwr naked look on tht bike let it be there! go for something else like a better looking headlight ??

hellrider6140 i know what you mean, i had seen a fz-16 with a black r15 fairing at yamaha malad.

All i can say is dont go for it. Its not worth it. There was rust all over that bike. And the r15 fairing didnt fit well on fz-16.

Your opinion may vary.

1. yes, off course you have to, change wiring,
not because its a bit ahead, but because it had dual headlamp.and indicator on side fairing (near engine)
2. FZ' current meter is too small when compared to R-15, so you must have to get Some Jugaad for it.
3. cost is easily 16000+,
and i think R-15 fairing comes in near 6 piece, each of its individual cost.
welding, wiring and all other stuff will take it easily to 18-20 k mark.

planting Fazer fairing is costs near 10K,
so think again brother..

In my humble opinion,
Do not do spol FZ' naked look,
but if you really want to do this mod,
i will suggest you do take R-15's semi fairing,not full,
as FZ is a Air cooled bike, unlike R-15' liquid cooling,
you also need to find alternative of R-15's DELTABOX FRAME, where fairing is mounted.
if not done properly,
end result would be a Spoiled bike...

no. you won't have to change the wiring... but you will have to add on a bit of stuff. very basic wiring mods required... totally doable.

it's not a direct fit... the guy doing the welding will have to make a few adjustments.

the plastic bits of the fairing cost about INR 4500.
OEM the bolts, collars n grommets costs quite a bit... about 3500 grand.
and the headlight assembly costs around INR 2200.

with other misc work ur total expense will work out to something in the range of INR 15000-18000.

if you want to re-paint the whole bike... that'll be an added cost.


i wouldn't recommend adding on an R15 fairing onto ur FZ tho.
the bike will end up looking totally out of proportion.

but adding on the Fazer fairing would definitely work.
total cost? about 7 to 8 grand.

dude...fz is a air cooled bike...any full faring would mess with the engine dynamics..

only a bikini faring would be suitable...the fazers faring is a direct fit cost 12k from the showroom...attaching charges extra....
