Path from Mumbai to Keolari(kanha national park)

    Path from Mumbai to Keolari(kanha national park)

    Guys need some info for the best route ..from Mumbai to Seoni(place nearby nagpur).I know the help query is too early to post,But's its always better to plan and finalise the things in advance to avoid any last moment hiccup's

    Leave :- 20 Dec to 31 Dec
    Approx Kms one side 1200 Kms.


    Plan:- I am planning to visit my home town keolari(MP) which is almost 1200Kms from Mumbai by December end(leave is confirmed).I am planning to visit following places in order,

    First Way
    Mumbai-->Nagpur-->Pachmari-->Jabalpur-->Kanha National park-->Keolari(my home town)
    Return Way
    Keolari-->Seoni-->Nagpur--> Mumbai.

    If someone has done some touring in the way,please help me to plan the travel.Also the suggestions about the places which can be visited in between is most welcome

    Anyone wanna join the quest is most welcum.

      Mumbai-(NH4)->Pune-->Ahmedanagar-(SH)->Aurangabad-->Yeotmal-->Wardha-->Nagpur
      Almost 870 kms.
      Dont enter any city, many of them got bypass, use them.

      Nagpur-(NH7)->Jabalpur

      Ride Safe & be cautious of High speeding Volvos, which dominate this route in abundnce...

        Why Pune ..Ahmednagar route ??

        I think below route will be the best.

        MUMBAI-->NASHIK-->MALEGAON-->DHULE-->BHUSAWAL-->KHANDWA-->HARDA-->HOSHANGABAD-->PIPARIYA-->PACHMARI-->JABALPUR(OR SEONI) --> HOME SWEET HOME
        total --> 1057 Kms + 100 kms

        Return way
        HOME-->SEONI-->CHINDWARA-->AMRAVATI-->AKOLA-->JALNA-->AURANGABAD-->SANGEMNER-->AAMCHI MUMBAI
        total --> 999 kms + 100 Kms

        I have observed that MP is untouched by most us..because of bad roads or no roads may be

        Suggestions are most welcome.

            Are i was not sure ki nagpur se near padega ki kahi aur se..aur andaaz se lik maara tha

            Abhi google kiya and foundout ki sabse nearest kya padega.

              I had created a rough route which i will be following..Only one more month to go..Phew !!

              This is the route for going home..for the coming back route i had planned to cover Jabalpur..and Pachmari..I will be up with a return plan soon.

              Kanha National Park is around 90 Kms from my place.So i will be covering the place during my stay in home

              Any suggestions and ideas are most welcome

                    I really want to go to Kanha...I might be in for this but I can only start after 23 Dec. Are you planning to spend some time in Kanha? How long are you going to spend at home?

                      GS sir..Kanha is less than one day ride from my place..say half day ride.
                      You can rather stay at my place and then we can go toghether.
                      I am not planning to stay at the place just visit and come back.

                      I will stay till 4 Jan.
