  • Cleaning engine parts and decarbonizing

    Hi friends ,
I wanted to know know what material and procedure to use while cleaning engine parts and can one De -carbonize at home ....
asking because the manual says to use a rounded scraper to do so !!
Of course scraper cant be used while cleaning exhaust pipe.. but talking about the ones which could ...
wont it harm the head and other parts ??

    Thanks for you patience ,
    seeking your reply .
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and

For cleaning engine parts get a good quality thinner bottle, no using thinner wont harm the head or crankcase or bore.

Edit : Pour the thinner into this http://www.firstaidmonster.com/image..._16OZ-5356.jpg spray bottle and you are ready to clean

An old hard used tooth brush "" would do, dip the brush in
                thinner and rock on ..

@Yashidiep reading the thread starter post clearly helps sometime my friend
